This exhibition reveals America from the 1960s to the present day, or at least Joel Coen's conception of it. It is the testimony of an artist, Lee Friedlander, on a country and a quintessence of his work marked by the "social landscape" and rather urban of his time. It is the junction between two approaches revealing through their sense of framing a certain perception of the complexity of the human soul. This common vision of our ambivalent consciences is an open door to their creations.

Cette exposition révèle l'Amérique des années 1960 à nos jours ou du moins la conception que s'en fait Joel Coen. C'est le témoignage d'un artiste, Lee Friedlander, sur un pays et une quintessence de son oeuvre marquée par le "paysage social" et plutôt urbain de son époque. C'est la jonction entre deux approches révélant par leur sens du cadrage une certaine perception de la complexité de l'âme humaine.
